Google launches YouTube for Schools

On Monday Google launched YouTube for Schools, a service that limits students to educational content on campus networks.

As per YouTube announcement, with YouTube for Schools, schools can restrict access to educational content on YouTube EDU.

Students can learn from educational videos sources from organizations like Stanford, PBS and TED, and from YouTube partners like Khan Academy, Steve Spangler Science and Numberphile. Schools can also customize their YouTube for Schools experience, adding videos that are only viewable within their school network.

Interestingly many schools had blocked YouTube access to protect student from inappropriate content.
